Looking back at 2024

This has been such a crazy year! NextWork added day classes and a lot more clients. We had an active summer, with lots of trips to a wide variety of locations and events in the valley. Special Olympics partnered with us and sent a personal trainer to help us learn different ways to exercise. Some residents graduated and left our training apartments, and we made many new friends on our activity nights. We said goodbye to a long-time staff member, and brought in Felicia, our benefits specialist and outreach Queen! Felicia has tracked every day since she started in the spring, and our Facebook page is full of awesome pictures. Check it out! Like our page so you can get all the updates. https://www.facebook.com/NextWorkAutism

We’ve also focused more on parent training. We had guest speakers from Molina Healthcare https://www.molinahealthcare.com/, Utah Health Policy Project https://www.healthpolicyproject.org/, and Tanner Withers from Ability Planning https://www.facebook.com/AlbilityPlanning/. This spring we will be participating in more resource and transition fairs, so look for us!

Here are some highlights from the past year. Enjoy!
